Premnath Chohan vs Oliver Bathan

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Berjaya Convention Centre, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 22/11/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Asian Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Premnath Chohan (16(2) - 0) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Oliver Bathan(16(2) - 2) from Quezon City, Philippines.  Chohan weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces, while Bathan weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Azam Hamdan, and the three ringside judges are Saad Hassan, Saad Hassan and Khalid Lodhi.
