Lee Jernigan vs Euan Hesson

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Edmonton Expo Centre, Edmonton,  taking place on 20/11/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lee Jernigan (14 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Euan Hesson(13 - 8 - 4) from Ottawa, Canada.  Both Jernigan and Hesson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Belan, and the three ringside judges are Joe Dinwiddie, Charles Wardrop and Amon Adie.  

Round 1: 

Jernigan digs in a left hook to Hesson's body.  
Hesson attempts to land a left hook, but Jernigan slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jernigan lands a spiteful jab.  Jernigan attempts to land a cross, but Hesson sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Jernigan is looking to close the distance.  Jernigan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Jernigan is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Jernigan lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Jernigan is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.

Hesson throws a left hook, but Jernigan clinches his opponent.  Jernigan pushes his forearm into Hesson's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Jernigan advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  Jernigan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Jernigan pushes his forearm into Hesson's face.  The ref breaks Jernigan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Jernigan manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Jernigan lands a right uppercut.  Jernigan tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Jernigan advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Hesson tries to land a left hook, but Jernigan slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jernigan lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
