George Merced vs Zelipe Aguilar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Houston Lemmond, Houston,  taking place on 02/10/2025:

Clearly AI USA-Texas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Merced (10 - 5 - 2) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Zelipe Aguilar(5 - 11 - 3) from Arlington, USA.  Merced weighed in at 140 pounds, while Aguilar weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Celestino, and the three ringside judges are Adnan Ghattas, Euan Bellis and Mark Marrufo.
