Andreas Owen vs Joshua Bau

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Richmond Rees, Richmond,  taking place on 02/10/2025:

Clearly AI USA-Virginia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andreas Owen (16 - 5 - 2) who hails from Virginia Beach, USA and Joshua Bau(8 - 5 - 3) from Norfolk, USA.  Both Owen and Bau weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Walls, and the three ringside judges are Dan Whalen, Hugh McGuinness and Sam Cowper.  

Round 1:

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Bau.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
