Orma Mhani vs Xayvion Lota

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson promoted show at Kitwe Siwo, Kitwe,  taking place on 31/10/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia-Copperbelt Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Orma Mhani (7 - 4 - 3) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Xayvion Lota(12 - 2 - 1) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Mhani weighed in at 237 pounds and 4 ounces, while Lota weighed in at 240 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kwau Kozlowiecki, and the three ringside judges are Denzel Silwimba, Vashon Kamanga and Faraji Jobe.  

Round 1: 

Lota closes the distance.  Lota pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Mhani's ribs.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Lota has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Lota gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Lota pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lota sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Mhani switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Lota closes the distance and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Mhani steps away from his opponent and throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mhani pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lota lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lota drives a right hook into Mhani's ribcage.  
Lota advances into close range.  Lota lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  As Lota tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mhani dabs at his face checking for damage.
