Aftab Zakariya vs Ali Akel

Boxing Daily Report from the Mayat Promotions promoted show at Medina Hanania, Medina,  taking place on 01/11/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Saudi Arabia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KSA Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aftab Zakariya (14(1) - 3 - 1) who hails from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Ali Akel(15 - 3(2) - 1) from Taif, Saudi Arabia.  Both Zakariya and Akel weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Hamidi, and the three ringside judges are Kamran Harron, Waleed Ahmadi and Shayan Maron.
