Penda Katuntu vs Owen Kasekende

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Ayoob, Lira,  taking place on 02/11/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Penda Katuntu (7 - 7 - 5) who hails from Lira, Uganda and Owen Kasekende(7 - 11(1) - 2) from Lira, Uganda.  Katuntu weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kasekende weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Pbitek, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Ssekimwanyi, Alastair Pbitek and Sam Nyanzi.

Katuntu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.
