Valeri Davydov vs Kieran Whalen

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Manchester Central Exchange Hall, Manchester,  taking place on 03/11/2025:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Valeri Davydov (5 - 0) who hails from Krasnodar, Russia and Kieran Whalen(2 - 4) from Belfast, UK.  Davydov weighed in at 200 pounds, while Whalen weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Law, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Finn, Robert Goff and John McQuay.  

Round 1: 

Davydov steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.
