Leighton Caven vs Rob Lasso

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Madison Vlachos, Madison,  taking place on 01/12/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Leighton Caven (7 - 4 - 3) who hails from Chicago, USA and Rob Lasso(2 - 9) from Scottsdale, USA.  Both Caven and Lasso weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theo Gwenn, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Prichard, Richard Cavanagh and John Quirke.  

Round 1: 

Lasso advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Caven is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Caven lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lasso finds the target with a jab.  
Caven pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lasso attempts to land a right hook, but Caven blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lasso manouvers Caven into the blue corner.  Caven hits home with a cross.  
Caven tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left.  
Lasso lands a left uppercut.
