Jens Manderscheid vs Rodrigo Jaspers

Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at Jacob Gym, Munich,  taking place on 19/10/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Jens Manderscheid (1 - 0) who hails from Duisburg, Germany and Rodrigo Jaspers(0 - 1 - 2) from Berlin, Germany.  Both Manderscheid and Jaspers weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Archimbald Marzen, and the three ringside judges are Alger Jenne, Reamonn Dade and Abbey Krogmann.  

Round 1: 

Jaspers throws a right hook, but Manderscheid holds on to his opponent.  Jaspers pushes his forearm into Manderscheid's face.  The referee warns Jaspers and breaks the clinch.  
Manderscheid is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Manderscheid clinches his opponent.  Manderscheid leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Manderscheid is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Manderscheid.  
Manderscheid digs in a right hook to Jaspers's ribcage.  
Manderscheid is on target with a cross.  
Manderscheid lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Jaspers tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Jaspers's ribcage.  
Manderscheid closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Jaspers's body.  
Manderscheid hits home with a right hook.  
Manderscheid drives a right hook into Jaspers's ribcage.  
Manderscheid is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Manderscheid hits home with a left hook.  Manderscheid holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Manderscheid tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jaspers's kidney. The ref breaks Manderscheid's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Manderscheid gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Manderscheid ties up his opponent.  Manderscheid leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Jaspers advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Manderscheid clinches his opponent.  Manderscheid leans on his opponent using all his weight. Manderscheid uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Jaspers behind the head. The referee warns Manderscheid and breaks the clinch.
