Woo-young Myung vs Montana Cedeno

Boxing Daily Report from the ノックアウトボクシング promoted show at Green Arena, Hiroshima,  taking place on 08/11/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Woo-young Myung (16(7) - 1) who hails from Incheon, South Korea and Montana Cedeno(15 - 6) from Havana, Cuba.  Myung weighed in at 105 pounds, while Cedeno weighed in at 104 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Niwa, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Fukuda, Goro Tengan and Takeo Higashi.  

Round 1: 

Myung closes the distance and drives a firm left uppercut into Cedeno's body.  
Myung lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Myung finds the target with a jab.  
Myung is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Myung slams a spiteful right hook into his opponents ribcage.  CEDENO IS HURT!  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cedeno dabs at his face checking for damage.  Cedeno quickly recovers.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Myung dabs at his face checking for damage.  Myung has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  Cedeno recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
