Phil Platter vs Brin Villarruel

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Civic Auditorium, San Jose,  taking place on 17/11/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Phil Platter (15(8) - 0) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Brin Villarruel(17 - 0 - 1) from Memphis, USA.  Platter weighed in at 175 pounds, while Villarruel weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cris Villagomez, and the three ringside judges are Richie Burnes, Zafa Rafiq and John Prophet.
