Mark Lochhead vs James Conte

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at Michael Malloye Gym, Sydney,  taking place on 05/11/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Lochhead (3 - 2 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and James Conte(9 - 2 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Lochhead and Conte weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Lipton, and the three ringside judges are Neil Malis, Nick Eade and Neil Malis.  

Round 1: 

Lochhead closes the distance.  Conte quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lochhead digs in a left hook to Conte's body.
