Sam Umaru vs Malik Taha

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Majid Saah Gym, Bama,  taking place on 05/11/2025:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Borno State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Umaru (1 - 0) who hails from Bama, Nigeria and Malik Taha(15 - 1) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Umaru and Taha weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Igbinadolor, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Ekoku, Irfan Rahaim and Obaid Shariff.
