Bryan Van der Byl vs Eric Ledwaba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Cape Town De Villiers, Cape Town,  taking place on 05/11/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Western Cape Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bryan Van der Byl (9(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Eric Ledwaba(8 - 9 - 1) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Both Van der Byl and Ledwaba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is La Vonn Dorkenoo, and the three ringside judges are Runako Mashaba, Colin Ntuli and Bongi Rantie.
