Fresco Portela vs Quico Mandes

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Othon Palace, Belo Horizonte,  taking place on 01/12/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Big Al Fresco Portela (3 - 10 - 1) who hails from Recife, Brazil and Quico Mandes(2 - 10 - 1) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Portela weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces, while Mandes weighed in at 228 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Padua, and the three ringside judges are Franco Caram, Joaquin Padua and Manny Henriques.
