Rico Real vs Ponce Prudente

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Sesc Pompeia, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 09/11/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Sao Paulo Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Real (5 - 6 - 3) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Ponce Prudente(10 - 7 - 4) from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Both Real and Prudente weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neron Salome, and the three ringside judges are Neper Maciel, Santiago Mosso and Lisandro Limas.  

Round 1: 

Prudente drives a left hook into Real's body.  
Real closes the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Prudente advances into close range.  Real hits home with a right hook.

Real steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Prudente parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Prudente lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Prudente gets on the inside.  Real is on target with a left hook to Prudente's body.  
Prudente throws a right hook, but Real ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Real advances into close range.  Prudente hits home with a left hook.  
Prudente connects with a left hook.  
Prudente forces Real to retreat onto the ropes.  Real lands a right hook.  
Prudente closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Real clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Real's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Prudente's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
