Yasushi Yanagi vs Iwao Fujimori

Boxing Daily Report from the Sam Promotions promoted show at Takeshi Oda Gym, Fukuoka,  taking place on 13/11/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yasushi Yanagi (5 - 15(2)) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Iwao Fujimori(10 - 9 - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Yanagi and Fujimori weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Ban, and the three ringside judges are Takeshi Murayama, Fumio Hara and Yasushi Baba.  

Round 1: 

Yanagi is on target with a jab.  
Yanagi advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Fujimori in a corner.  Fujimori is on target with a left hook.
