Rush Allo vs Saber Du Jeu

Boxing Daily Report from the Amissah Promotions promoted show at Cable Jacob Gym, Douala,  taking place on 16/10/2025:

Clearly Amissah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Littoral Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rush Allo (6 - 4 - 3) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Saber Du Jeu(4 - 9 - 1) from Douala, Cameroon.  Both Allo and Du Jeu weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gerald Pageau, and the three ringside judges are Acelin Lombe, Ames Feudjio and Gerald Pageau.  

Round 1: 

Allo pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Allo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Du Jeu attempts to land a cross, but Allo sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Du Jeu advances into close range.  Du Jeu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Allo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Du Jeu's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Du Jeu's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Allo attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Du Jeu time to recover.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Allo has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.
