Xavion Merced vs Vicente Chino

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanja Promotions promoted show at Cartagena Leyva, Cartagena,  taking place on 12/11/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Colombia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xavion Merced (15 - 1) who hails from Cartagena, Colombia and Vicente Chino(12 - 5 - 1) from Cartagena, Colombia.  Both Merced and Chino weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eloy Celestino, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Aguilera, Neper Eusebio and Rodrigo Vasco.  

Round 1: 

Chino gets on the inside.  Merced sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Chino hits home with a right hook.
