Juan Cifuentes vs Xaverius Zarco

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Rondon, Guayaquil,  taking place on 18/10/2025:

Clearly Yalley Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Cifuentes (13 - 8 - 1) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Xaverius Zarco(15 - 2) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Cifuentes weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Zarco weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jax Civil, and the three ringside judges are Quiqui Rubi, Santiago Ferro and Pedro Solis.  

Round 1: 

Zarco lands a cross.
