Xalvador Cajigas vs Elias Cavazos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Jalisco promoted show at Luis Jerez Gym, Zapopan,  taking place on 18/10/2025:

Clearly AI Mexico-Jalisco have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Jalisco Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xalvador Cajigas (9 - 5 - 2) who hails from Tonala, Mexico and Elias Cavazos(8 - 2) from Guadalajara, Mexico.  Cajigas weighed in at 115 pounds, while Cavazos weighed in at 114 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Montel Almeda, and the three ringside judges are Cuba Tiscareno, Montel Villalta and Kiki Calzadilla.
