Mikio Sakurai vs Yoshi Kitamura

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at PACIFICO Yokohama Conference Center, Yokohama,  taking place on 08/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mikio Sakurai (12 - 0) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Yoshi Kitamura(11 - 1 - 3) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Sakurai and Kitamura weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiroki Nakazawa, and the three ringside judges are Mitsuru Horiuchi, Nori Okuma and Ichiro Kita.
