Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Southwest Finland promoted show at Turku Haapajarvi, Turku,  taking place on 18/11/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Verneri Ankelo (14 - 4 - 1) who hails from Turku, Finland and Pellervo Kuusela(10 - 7 - 2) from Turku, Finland.  Ankelo weighed in at 232 pounds and 11 ounces, while Kuusela weighed in at 247 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mooses Laituri, and the three ringside judges are Aake Kononen, Jyri Laurila and Panu Peltola.
