Immo Ahonen vs Tapio Kurkela

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Energia Areena, Vantaa,  taking place on 29/11/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Finland-Uusimaa Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yle TV2, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Immo Ahonen (13 - 4 - 2) who hails from Vantaa, Finland and Tapio Kurkela(14 - 0) from Helsinki, Finland.  Ahonen weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces, while Kurkela weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kaarlo Nurmela, and the three ringside judges are Pekka Waisanen, Aleksi Paatalo and Miko Vainio.
