Aarne Lankinen vs Jere Itkonen

Boxing Daily Report from the Wekinky Promotions promoted show at Toolo Sports Hall, Helsinki,  taking place on 05/01/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Finland-Uusimaa Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aarne Lankinen (13(3) - 0) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Jere Itkonen(13 - 3(1) - 1) from Espoo, Finland.  Lankinen weighed in at 239 pounds, while Itkonen weighed in at 212 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kaarlo Nurmela, and the three ringside judges are Jori Puttonen, Heikki Laitinen and Tiitus Lansivuori.
