Ricky Newall vs Mubariz Akbar

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Geelong Baseball Centre, Geelong,  taking place on 06/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Asia-Oceania Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ricky Newall (11 - 2 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Mubariz Akbar(15 - 3) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  Both Newall and Akbar weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Collins, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Hinshaw, Gareth Dovey and James Christou.  

Round 1:
