Arturo Zaza vs Rico Turco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Lazio promoted show at Rome Bertolacci, Rome,  taking place on 22/10/2025:

Clearly AI Italy-Lazio have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Lazio Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arturo Zaza (5 - 9 - 5) who hails from Rome, Italy and Rico Turco(10 - 7 - 3) from Rome, Italy.  Both Zaza and Turco weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nico Alberici, and the three ringside judges are Mariano Buccico, Gianluca Papapietro and Arturo Santoro.  

Round 1: 

Turco gets on the inside.  Zaza pivots from in front of his opponent.  Zaza throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Turco pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Zaza hits home with a cross.  
Turco lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Turco connects with a left hook.
