Santiago Guedes vs Carlos Tavares

Boxing Daily Report from the Nyauza Promotions promoted show at Nalubamba Gym, Salvador,  taking place on 05/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Bahia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Guedes (15(1) - 0) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Carlos Tavares(12 - 1) from Salvador, Brazil.  Both Guedes and Tavares weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oro Matias, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Sampaio, Juan Maria and Sancho Coval.
