Pradeep Anand vs Akil Parikh

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Uttar Pradesh promoted show at Kanpur Sherbani, Kanpur,  taking place on 21/11/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the India-Uttar Pradesh Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pradeep Anand (6 - 0) who hails from Ghaziabad, India and Akil Parikh(12 - 0) from Lucknow, India.  Anand weighed in at 146 pounds And 14 ounces, while Parikh weighed in at 147 pounds.
