Destin Boyer vs Gage Roussel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ivory Coast-Lagunes promoted show at Abidjan Rostand, Abidjan,  taking place on 21/11/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast-Lagunes Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Destin Boyer (9 - 8 - 6) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Gage Roussel(8 - 6 - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Boyer weighed in at 126 pounds, while Roussel weighed in at 125 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xebec de Sade, and the three ringside judges are Tenenan Radiguet, Seymour Tiozzo and Erec Bayne.  

Round 1: 

Boyer hits home with a cross.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Roussel dabs at his face checking for damage.

As Boyer tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Roussel dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Roussel gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Roussel.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Boyer steps to the outside.  Roussel sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Roussel throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
