Killian McCloy vs Evan Shine

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Dublin Collins, Dublin,  taking place on 21/11/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Killian McCloy (14 - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Dundalk, Ireland and Evan Shine(9 - 4 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  McCloy weighed in at 168 pounds, while Shine weighed in at 167 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Brisbane, and the three ringside judges are Shane MacNevin, Fionn Delaney and Michael Corcoran.  

Round 1: 

McCloy lands a right hook.  
Shine sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McCloy digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
McCloy steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Shine is whaling away with hooks, but McCloy keeps his defence tight.

McCloy steps inside.  Shine pivots to the left of his opponent.  McCloy lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shine throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Shine is looking to keep his distance.  McCloy connects with an overhand left.

As they grapple, McCloy pushes his forearm into Shine's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McCloy to stop fouling.
