Alwin Neirync vs Alek Basciet

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Netherlands-South Holland promoted show at Rotterdam Roelandts, Rotterdam,  taking place on 27/10/2025:

Clearly AI Netherlands-South Holland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Netherlands-South Holland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alwin Neirync (11 - 2) who hails from Rotterdam, Netherlands and Alek Basciet(7 - 0 - 2) from The Hague, Netherlands.  Both Neirync and Basciet weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jefke Abelmont, and the three ringside judges are Voet Willaert, Wilfried Lepiper and Raafke Van de Woestyne.  

Round 1: 

Basciet hits home with a left uppercut.  
Basciet attempts to land a jab, but Neirync blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Basciet throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
