Sone Onyilo vs Amjad Maroun

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Nwoke, Kano,  taking place on 27/10/2025:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Kano State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sone Onyilo (4 - 9 - 2) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Amjad Maroun(13 - 3(1) - 1) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Onyilo and Maroun weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Izunna Obiefuna, and the three ringside judges are Jay-Jay Ukaegbu, Gbolahan Adenaike and Chinedu Monu.
