Sam Dowe vs Floyd Bedel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Calgary Ruxton, Calgary,  taking place on 25/11/2025:

Clearly AI Canada-Alberta have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Dowe (6 - 7 - 4) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Floyd Bedel(9 - 2 - 4) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Dowe and Bedel weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Belan, and the three ringside judges are Rob Spade, Joe Dinwiddie and Oscar Lewis.  

Round 1: 

Bedel sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.
