Porfio Arcia vs Malvolio Tejera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Matamoros Negrin, Matamoros,  taking place on 25/11/2025:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Porfio Arcia (12 - 0 - 1) who hails from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and Malvolio Tejera(5 - 6 - 2) from Ciudad Victoria, Mexico.  Arcia weighed in at 237 pounds and 7 ounces, while Tejera weighed in at 232 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xavier Alverez, and the three ringside judges are Xeres Sevilla, Edmundo Naranjo and Selestino Berlanga.
