Yasushi Asai vs Javier Leon

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Ariake Coliseum, Tokyo,  taking place on 05/12/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the WRBO Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TBS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yasushi Asai (16 - 0) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Javier Leon(14(4) - 5(2)) from La Florida, Chile.  Asai weighed in at 114 pounds and 12 ounces, while Leon weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Koizumi, and the three ringside judges are Jiro Fukumoto, Nori Tamanaha and Isamu Okimoto.
