Peter Pherson vs Noel Paekau

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Wellington Norrie, Wellington,  taking place on 25/11/2025:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Wellington have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Pherson (9 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Noel Paekau(13(1) - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Pherson weighed in at 147 pounds, while Paekau weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jonathan Laurie, and the three ringside judges are Brad Milner, Gareth Page and Keka Paratene.
