Carlos Kalingasan vs Salvador Escamilla

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Misamis Oriental promoted show at Juan Palapal Gym, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 29/10/2025:

Clearly AI Philippines-Misamis Oriental have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Kalingasan (7 - 6 - 3) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Salvador Escamilla(6 - 6 - 1) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Kalingasan and Escamilla weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gonzalo Alikpala, and the three ringside judges are Jose Maybituin, Bronco Rubio and Tajo Gannod.
