Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 25/11/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matt MacGibbon (10 - 0 - 1) who hails from Newcastle, Australia and Sean Donlon(12 - 3 - 2) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both MacGibbon and Donlon weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Fabian, and the three ringside judges are Richard Bean, Chris Lobban and Antwan Campbell.

MacGibbon steps inside.  MacGibbon is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacGibbon dabs at his face checking for damage.

Donlon gets on the inside.  MacGibbon lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
MacGibbon throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
