Lorenzo Merlo vs Santiago Soria

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Complejo Panamericano, Guadalajara,  taking place on 29/11/2025:

Clearly Hennessy Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Azteca, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lorenzo Merlo (15 - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Santiago Soria(16(5) - 1) from Saltillo, Mexico.  Merlo weighed in at 126 pounds, while Soria weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quito Miera, and the three ringside judges are Diego Milian, Quito Miera and Jeraldo Canada.
