Steven Selasee vs Brett Dewornu

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Azumah Nelson Sports Complex, Accra,  taking place on 28/11/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Steven Selasee (11 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Brett Dewornu(9 - 7(2) - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Selasee and Dewornu weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gregor Bedwei, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Adams, Bilal Haider and Deion Ayew.  

Round 1: 

Selasee backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Dewornu steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Dewornu drives a left hook into Selasee's body.  Dewornu ties up his opponent.  Dewornu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dewornu about fouling.
