Santiago Tallon vs Frisco Pestana

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Meadowbrook Recreation Center, Arlington,  taking place on 05/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Tallon (17(12) - 0) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Frisco Pestana(10 - 7 - 2) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Both Tallon and Pestana weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sean Richards, and the three ringside judges are Robert Corfield, Euan Bellis and Theo Whitehead.  

Round 1: 

Tallon lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Tallon lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Pestana switches the action to the outside.  Tallon feints a jab, and then is on target with a cross.  Tallon attempts to land a jab, but Pestana sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Tallon lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Tallon throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Pestana to the neutral corner.  He threatens Tallon with a point deduction if he keeps fouling.  
Tallon advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Tallon closes the distance.  Tallon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Tallon manages to force Pestana into the blue corner.  Tallon lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Tallon clinches his opponent.  Tallon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tallon lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Tallon lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pestana steps away from his opponent.  Tallon is on target with a solid overhand left.  
Tallon closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.

Pestana tries to step out of his opponents range.  Pestana sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tallon is on target with a cross.  
Pestana sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pestana attempts to land a jab, but Tallon blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Tallon gets on the inside.  Tallon lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pestana dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tallon lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Tallon gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tallon closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Pestana could be stopped here, if Tallon can find the right shot!  Tallon lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, KNOCKING PESTANA DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Tallon digs in a powerful left hook to his opponents ribs.  DOWN GOES PESTANA!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Tallon!
