Tajo Diwa vs Juan Bernardez

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at UST Sports Centre, Manila,  taking place on 27/11/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tajo Diwa (18 - 1) who hails from Antipolo, Philippines and Juan Bernardez(11 - 6 - 2) from Dasmarinas, Philippines.  Diwa weighed in at 126 pounds, while Bernardez weighed in at 125 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Wayne Linsangan, and the three ringside judges are Federico Buhain, Dario Tioaquen and Santiago Mojica.  

Round 1: 

Diwa advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Diwa throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Diwa ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Diwa pushes his forearm into Bernardez's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
