Quiqui Diaz vs Diego Almanza

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Estadio Oscar Ramos Cabieses, Lima,  taking place on 27/11/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru-Lima Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal MovieStar Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quiqui Diaz (8 - 3 - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Diego Almanza(7 - 6) from Lima, Peru.  Diaz weighed in at 121 pounds and 7 ounces, while Almanza weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Salvador Gato, and the three ringside judges are Venacio Belmontes, Rafael Vidal and Reynaldo Barcena.  

Round 1: 

Almanza steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.
