Ovidio Carias vs Dimos Marco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Davao del Sur promoted show at Davao City Nacapuy, Davao City,  taking place on 01/12/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Davao del Sur Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ovidio Carias (13(2) - 0) who hails from Davao City, Philippines and Dimos Marco(9 - 3 - 2) from Davao City, Philippines.  Both Carias and Marco weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luis Asuncion, and the three ringside judges are Will Alujipan, Luis Asuncion and Paul Lacdao.

Marco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carias lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.

Carias steps away from his opponent.  Marco throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.

Carias senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Marco and just needs the right shot.  Carias lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MARCO!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Marco cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Carias!
