Cyril Slanina vs VÝt Janda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Slovakia-Bratislava promoted show at Trystan Richard Gym, Bratislava,  taking place on 03/11/2025:

Clearly AI Slovakia-Bratislava have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Slovakia-Bratislava Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Digi Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cyril Slanina (6 - 9 - 1) who hails from Bratislava, Slovakia and VÝt Janda(4 - 0) from Bratislava, Slovakia.  Both Slanina and Janda weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Geron Baudin, and the three ringside judges are Reinald Jean-Pierre, Odo Mane and Olympe Mbacke.  

Round 1: 

Janda steps inside.  Janda lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Slanina steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Janda feints a cross, and then is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Janda lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Janda advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Janda dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Janda closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Janda pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Janda pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Janda lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Janda pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Slanina throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Janda pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Janda manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Janda lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Slanina dabs at his face checking for damage.  Slanina has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
