Denton Allen vs Floyd Taggart

Boxing Daily Report from the ABP Promotions promoted show at Mel Justus Gym, Cincinnati,  taking place on 18/11/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Denton Allen (1 - 1) who hails from New Haven, USA and Floyd Taggart(5 - 3) from Colorado Springs, USA.  Both Allen and Taggart weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Boyle, and the three ringside judges are Darryl Boyle, Paul Kumler and Jack Pfluger.  

Round 1: 

Taggart steps to the outside.  Allen lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Taggart strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Allen is on target with a right hook to Taggart's body.  Allen holds on to his opponent.  Allen pushes his forearm into Taggart's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Allen to stop fouling.  
Allen digs in a sharp right hook to Taggart's body.  Allen holds on to his opponent.  Allen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Taggart behind the head. 
Allen walks Taggart into a corner.  Allen is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Allen is on target with a right uppercut.  
Allen closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Taggart's liver.  
Allen is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm left hook to Taggart's liver.  
Allen throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Allen ties up his opponent.  Allen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Allen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
