Jack Stackpoole vs Stephen Crumlish

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shreyas Gym, Boston,  taking place on 14/11/2025:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jack Stackpoole (5 - 0) who hails from Wichita, USA and Stephen Crumlish(3 - 3 - 1) from Las Vegas, USA.  Both Stackpoole and Crumlish weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Hier, Ian Sproule and Hassan Quadri.  

Round 1: 

Stackpoole gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Stackpoole connects with a right hook.  
Stackpoole is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Stackpoole ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Stackpoole pushes his forearm into Crumlish's face.  The referee warns Stackpoole and breaks the clinch.  
Stackpoole lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Crumlish tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Stackpoole manouvers Crumlish into a corner.  Stackpoole lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Stackpoole closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Stackpoole steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Stackpoole ties up his opponent.  Stackpoole leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Stackpoole's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Crumlish sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stackpoole snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Stackpoole is looking to close the distance.  Crumlish throws a left hook, but Stackpoole clinches his opponent.  Crumlish is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Crumlish.  
Stackpoole is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Crumlish throws a left hook, but Stackpoole ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Stackpoole pushes his forearm into Crumlish's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Stackpoole.  
Stackpoole is on target with a firm right hook.  
Stackpoole lands with a stinging jab.  
Crumlish tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Crumlish throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Stackpoole advances into close range.  Crumlish throws a right hook, but Stackpoole holds on to his opponent.  Stackpoole leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Crumlish's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Stackpoole closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Stackpoole holds on to his opponent.  Stackpoole leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Crumlish switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.

Stackpoole is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Crumlish has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Stackpoole hits home with a left hook.  
Stackpoole lands with a stiff jab.  
Crumlish throws a right hook, but Stackpoole clinches his opponent.  Stackpoole tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Crumlish's kidney.

Crumlish sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stackpoole lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
