Erol Buyuk vs Umut Kalkan

Boxing Daily Report from the Jumbo Promotions promoted show at Ankara Ozgur, Ankara,  taking place on 02/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Erol Buyuk (14 - 5 - 1) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Umut Kalkan(12 - 0) from Ankara, Turkey.  Both Buyuk and Kalkan weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cemil Skender, and the three ringside judges are Adem Dogan, Selim Alptekin and Metin Kaptan.  

Round 1: 

Kalkan lands a right hook.  
Kalkan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.
